last week we had a thread on mini roses. I never had luck with them inside. I like flowers on my desk, mini roses much cheaper then orchids. Because of the thread when I saw them at my supermarket tonight I went over to see them. A lavender colored rose caught my eye, at $6.99 I said why not. Came home unwrapped, found bottom half all yellow, wrapping hide it in store. Pissed off now

That's not a big deal really. It probably got dry at some point and the wrapping also kept the light from getting to the leaves. Just do a little plant grooming and it will grow new leaves quickly. Those minis really are tough.

Just don't do like me and forget it on the windowsill until it's a cornflake.

Take that stupid foil, the killer of plants, off and throw it away. It looks too wet and the drainage was impaired. Clean it up let it dry out A LITTLE. give it a lite bit of fertilizer.

Are you sure that it is a Mini-Rose? It looks a lot like a full sized lavender rose I have.
