It is very little protein. But I also get veggies, sometimes a carb (rice cake, 1/2 c. rice, or fruit) and sometimes a healthy fat (I like 2 tablespoons almond butter). Four meals of the above plus a protein shake with orange juice during workout and one at bedtime with the almond butter. It's not too bad. Except for not having ice cream or sweets.

Mom had me while wearing a full leg cast after falling on icy stairs 3 weeks earlier. Poor mom! Fortunately I was more of a Sweetpea as a kid. Didn't get to be a Thistle until I was an adult.
You know I'll have your share Mary. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting is my plan.

Ditched work, supposedly to catch up on paperwork, which didn't happen, (predictably), but I did go through my work notebook and read all of my "idea" scribbles that I leave myself and got some fresh inspiration for a few jobs.
Kid#1 and his girlfriend stopped by on their way back north to home and hung out for a bit. We do a lot of laughing and kidding when they're here so that was fun. Oh, and they gave me two pretty ranunculus.
Then Kid#2 treated us to a pizza for dinner with ice cream and fudge cake for dessert.
I had a piece for Mary and Red, and an extra in case I missed anybody.
I love birthdays.
