Welcome from northeast Texas. Your summers are our winters and when you have winter, we are hugging the air conditioners. Looking at Wikipedia, where I live has more than twice the annual average rainfall than Perth. You have lots of sunshine like much of California. You will have to tell us what plants are the most popular for your area for landscaping. One thing here on TEG, no matter where in the world you live, we are all bound by the roots of the plants we grow, whether vegetable, flower, tree, or shrub.
