Happy Sage Plant (PIX)

A few weeks ago I moved a sage plant that was not happy where I had planted it. So, I gave it a short shovel ride from the back garden to a small bed by the back door.

It appears to really like where it is now. For company it has four mini rose bushes, some onion chives and some curly parsley.

Wow that is nice. Mine has been in the same spot for several years. It is starting to look kind of tired. Maybe I need to move it.

Looks as though it's doing fine. When thinking of tearing out a sage remember that the best tasting leaves come from old woody plants. Before tearing it out try a drastic pruning and see if that won't stimulate new growth.
