Actually, it turned out pretty good. Although, i will say that the amount think you harvested and the amount that cooks up are not similar. You really need to harvest quite a lot for a decent side dish.

I think, though, that when i do it again, i will harvest only the very tips to put in a salad. I love the flavor of the tips when raw.

My husband liked them. He tells people i've been feeding him "grass." Haha!

Putting them is salad makes them go farther if you only have a few.
Believe it or not I have seen Italians growing them in their gardens.
