LOL,

I go over and Lurk in SS too; those folks are so smart and intimidating that I cannot keep up. LOL

I have to come hang with the slower more gardeny folk! LOL

it is really because as much as I would love to be self sufficient, I am still a victim to the World and what I can produce!

Beautiful pictures! I've always wanted a peony.
Some children grow up wanting a pony, we grow up wanting a peony!

I love it over there, but I'm no where near being smart or totally self sufficient! :gig

That's the thing. None of us are. When you try to be self sufficient you realize your limitations and you realize how important community is! There is no way you can do it all for yourself.

SS is kind of like AA . . . you have to take it one day (and one project) at a time. ;)

OH Blackbird how beautiful those flowers are!!! thank you so much for sharing them ... I adore peonies I have 3 right now all the same pale pink they are just a flat out beautiful flower

I actually found them at a local thrift shop if you can believe it?

I have had bad luck in the past with them but I feel empowered now so maybe I will branch out and try some other colors ...
I would love to try a tree peonie someday
and
welcome by the way

:)

Do peonies propagate by seed?

I do not think I have ever heard of anyone trading Peony seeds. :idunno
