Help w/tractor tire gardening

WE paint some of our tires, we leave some black for winter planting to warm up the soil better.

As far as the tires getting too hot, I have seen many folks paint them as to reflect the light, so this maybe answer to the over heating.

Seedcorn I think you have a wonderful problem there. I wouldn't mind having a couple more tractor tires for flower beds around my place :watering

People tend to forget ,or maybe never know, what a great resource they have at their county Co-operative Extension.
Our local garden hotline gets as many as 200 calls a week during growing season!
