Centaurea comes to mind. It comes in several colors and varieties.The description also sounds like Fritillaria, but, I don't know that it comes in purple.

Do a search for cornflower...do you think that could be it?? Or...a bee balm?

yes it is cornflower aka batchelors button :D

Thank you all soooo much for the kind help!!!

Doing a google search also gave insight to why it is grown in "grandmas" flower bed :)
The cornflower is of great importance in germany from where my guys great grandma/grandpa and grandma and grandpa imergrated from in the late
1940s and most of that side of his family resides today :D

Seems this is ur favorite flower could u give me the know how information u have as far as how it reproduces. How to propagate it ect

Our cornflowers are quite invasive drives me insane every year. I've never wanted.to full get rid of them but would love to move some massive growth to other sights in our land all the information would be greatly appreciated :D

This is the next plant I am unsure about :/ its very green leaves quite thick similar to lily leaf. It does not die in the winter living in horrible conditions under dead wild rose and tree
