AHHH Fish and chips (preferably catfish) with a bottle of brewski. My favorite meal. If you have some slaw throw that on the plate too.
 
I may be confused( not a first!) but doesn't alcohol turn into some sort of sugar in your system? Or is it the refined sugar thats being counted?
 
If you ingest alcohol, your body burns that first. It doesn't turn to sugar, but it prevents your body from burning fat.

Excess protein can be converted to glucose if you have too much at one time, but it doesn't convert easily and usually isn't a big issue for people.

It's the flour, potatoes, corn starch, rice, etc... that most people think of as dietary staples but are just sugar in disguise.
