Sounds like you had a good visit. Your mom's garden sounds wonderful and I love the idea for the dry creek bed. I bet she will really enjoy it now that you guys have spruced it up for her. It's such a peaceful and satisfying feeling to look out on a well-tended garden. I hope she can get out to sit there often.
