As a general rule, im a mostly, pretty much of the time, Thankful person. Not just on this day we choose to celebrate Thanksgiving!
To say “im thankful for our minus 5f weather today” might be stretching it though.

You don’t have to look very far to find someone with worse problems than your own; give someone a hug and stay warm today!

I am exceedingly grateful for my new knee!!
And for the PT's helping me.
I was shocked to discover that a mutual friend who can walk some, but uses a wheelchair, had knee surgery and thought it too painful to stretch, therefore immobility.
I am doubling down on my exercises, walking more and more without the static walker and bearing the pain. "
I am grateful for more pain pills and I take them every night with melatonin so that I can sleep and continue to heal.
I am grateful for my family who are taking care of my chores so that I can stay inside.
I, too, don't like the cold weather--not as cold as Yours!!--but I choose to be grateful for the boiler, which had a issue earlier this year, thus was checked out for THIS winter already!
I am grateful that I don't live in a war zone or have Central American gang members roaming streets near me.
I am grateful for many friends and for my special friends, don't see them all of the time, but we pick up where we left off last time.

I practice the attitude of gratitude. I give thanks for all the blessings of life. Trees, blue sky, rain, flowers, family, friends, and the list goes on.
