Just wanted to say 'Howdy' to everyone here!!!

A little about myself... I got the gardening bug a long time ago from my grandpa. As the eldest grandson, I spent a lot of time 'helping' him in his garden (starting at the age of 6). When I turned 10, he gave me my own little spot to garden & told me "get to it". That was 56 years ago & I've been playing in the dirt ever since!!!

I look forward to conversing with all of you about one of my lifelong passions & sharing ideas, as well as recipes!!!

Howdy Sam. I live in IA about 10 miles North of the bend in the Mississippi river. It is COLD here.
