Humming bird feeder thief

I noticed the feeder liquid was going down. I tried to watch for a hummingbird. Then I spotted this bright bird at the feeder.

Mystery solved!

I did see a ruby throated hummer later in the day near that same feeder. Already more than I'd expected when I made the container.

Pretty bird! I guess you'll just have to make lots more hummer juice to keep them all happy. That's neat that he stayed for you to get pictures.

They sure have a loud voice, don't they? I read that they love orange juice, so you might try putting out a half an orange to lure him away from the feeder.
