I Am in Big Trouble

I can't believe what I just did !!!!!!! I some how changed my email address and wiped out my email address book. So I can't email anyone nor check my emails. I have no idea what happened !!! Clients are going to email me and I willn't know about it.

I'm sure it's not a permanent loss NYboy. There must be a restore process....even though I don't have the first clue what it could be. Sorry for the non-help, just wanted to commiserate with you.

Email yourself. C what happens. Your email is still there. Your password has probably been changed. Contact the carrier, they will send you link to reset it.

Now get yo work and quit playing with the Internet.....

I tried to email myself nope All my favorites and saves also gone. It is like starting over everything gone. When I call AOL on hold for long time and hang up hoping wait time shorter at night. I am so screwed right now.

Another tech-less friend here. I have no idea what to tell you or how to help. All I can do is give you a cyber hug and send comforting vibes.

For some reason I don't understand, my Gmail account has been ended as of last Friday. While I did get notice (I guess) I have no idea how to get another mail account from my internet service provider. I did have one opportunity to 'save' my past mails and contacts, but I have no idea whether or not what I did was successful since I don't know where my new mailing address will be -- or is.

At least we still have each other. . .

@Nyboy , I think @seedcorn is probably right and you must have logged out and somehow made a different email account. Do you have a different computer that you use to check mail that you might try that would have the log in saved? I don't have any familiarity with AOL but there are others here who do.

@SmartRed , your experience having your gmail cut off sounds strange, unless that is some restriction that your Internet Service Provider put into place. If it was an @gmail.com address, you might try logging in directly to gmail if that isn't what you do normally.

Just take a deep breath and work with tech services to get back to your info. Good luck!
