On the news last night they said it was to look at all the particles to see if they can find water.
They mentioned that stuff hits the moon like this all the time.
If that is true, why do they not just watch that action and not shoot things at her?

Exactly... it was a waste of time, money and not worth doing. It was a stunt gone wrong for selfish reason of someone.. and it wasn't me, that's for sure!

The cancer in me (the sign of the crab that is) was not sleeping easy last night, lets say that!

They're good at that, for sure. Especially when you think of all the hungry children they could have fed for that money.

Journey I agree! Last week in the news paper I read there are over 5,000 homeless children in my county.
Every corner has people holding signs.
I like Heidi's idea about land set aside for them to live and grow food, raise cattle, ect.
There is a rich family here that donated square miles of land to the county for a park/ tax break.
I should apply for a grant and go to this family with this idea for homeless to become more self sufficient.

i'm totally excited about the space program...all the new science is very exciting.

i think someone asked why they were doing it? its to find out of there is a way to get water from the moon. if yes then they could establish a base there and NOT have to supply it with water/energy from here.

waste of money? maybe. maybe not.

i'm on the 'not' side - and i'm a space geek.

My friend, we are destroying this planet, this is a fact not fiction.
Science is great! It even proved we are killing our Mother!
A waste? Yes it is, the moon is struck all the time! They made mention of her getting struck by bigger objects all the time, nature taking it's course! Now the Moon has our scrap on it's surface. Did we just change the evolution of our sister?

I think I will stop here and not look back!
