No dog now, the dog that we had a year or two ago probably would've. :rolleyes:

Got to fell sorry for the dogs, they have a lot of hard to reach place and no fingers to pick them off. I usually just smash them with my fingers. If I let them live they'll just find me later. :hide

You can smash them with your fingers! We have to burn them or cut them in half before they are gonners. I HATE ticks.

On the property the chickens, and turkeys do a great job keeping them down, but you go five feet off the property and you will be covered in ticks. When we first moved here walking from the house to the trash (about 20 yards) you would have at least 5 ticks usually more (excluding the thousand when you step in a nest) after getting chickens you can walk the whole property and maybe end up with one. (the joys 200 free range chickens):lol: Ticks were the original reason we got chickens. :)
