Identify berry plant

I got one response so far on the Name that Plant forum, possibly Lonicera tatarica.

Hum. That is what it looked like to me. The first thing I suggested -- aka "Tartarian honeysuckle".

Spouse and I spotted a beautiful flowering shrub in the ditch nearby, dug it up, brought it home, and planted it in the yard. Lonicera Tatarica is what it turned out to be -- a highly invasive plant in South-est, central-est Wisconsin.

Most of the honeysuckle growing wild around here has white flowers and red berries. This one had almost red flowers and red berries. Still pretty in the spring, but it's gotta go. I'll soon be digging the (not so) baby bush up and sending it to the burn pile.

I want to say a big thank you for all your help. I am sorry I didn't get replying to yourselves earlier I've been pretty sick recently. The photo Thistlebloom posted the flowers are identical, but we don't want to take chances with young kids so we're just going to remove it from the garden.

And if in the future you are interested in harvesting this, take it to your state or county extension service. They are wonderful at giving you answers.
