I live in Champaign County, about 22 miles SSE of Urbana, IL. Ewesheep lives about an hour and and 15 minutes away from me. DH is a native "Decaturian", and my SIL and her DH, AND their 2 collies still live in Decatur. Say, Ewesheep, did you happen to catch the bicentennial musical, "Is Decatur really necessary?" (1976) I'm assuming that you were around then, but, I assume EVERYBODY is close to my age--sorry if you were just a tyke, or a glint in somebody's eye!! I hear it was very entertaining.

Hello, I am from notrh east central Illinois. About an hour south of Chicago.
My husband and I and our 5 kids put in a huge garden and it gets bigger every year. I also have a herb gardern and am planning on enlarging that this year too.
We also raise poultry, waterfowl, rabbits, hogs etc... and I love to cook!
