Well, it's 12:30pm here . . . did you know that northern Idaho is on pacific time while southern Idaho is on mountain time? Might make a little more sense if you knew that I live almost exactly as far west as San Diego, California . . .

I'm just in from pulling up the zucchini and burying them - the plants in the little veggie garden, anyway. As best as I understand, it was 23F last night, breaking a record of 27 set in 1896! The zucchini had been dead from the frost for about a week. Guess the weather gods just wanted to make darn sure.

I checked the little weather station nearest my larger veggie garden earlier this morning. It was 21.

Tonight, the Weather Service is predicting colderF!!
