For those didn't have sufficient resources to grow up in late summer - i transplanted them into individal planters today.

They will stay in the greenhouse when severe frosts hit, but outdoors when the weather is mild.

Another joy of today, one more milestone in my journey understading:

Respecting the true cost of your inner resources

Time and attention are not just expensive - they’re non-renewable.
Money can be earned again.
Meaning can be grown again.
But a moment once absorbed by noise is simply gone.
So prioritizing isn’t ruthless.
It’s honest.

I am not the place where things happen.
I am the one who decides what continues.

Every winter, I seem to restart my sewing practice from Level 1

Alright, honestly speaking, that’s part of the fun?

With homegrown catnip, I’ve made a few simple, handmade catnip pillows for the gift wall in the café.

My mother inherited Grandmother Goldie's sewing machine. It was a Singer on a cabinet powered by a petal inside the cabinet door. I used it many times. If I hadn't been too shy to keep my Teddy Bear when I became an adult, I could show off how I made him a pair of denim pants.



DW made a few catnip toys to sell at the farmers' market. She somehow pulled up the skill to make mice! They didn't have eyes or whiskers but were in the right shape and had tails.

i have a Singer Featherweight in my closet, it does work, as a kid i spent many hours with Mom and eventually learned how to use it which is why she gave it to me. it can be run by hand or by 'lectric foot pedal.

a hand crank one would get very tiring if you weren't an alien or an octopus.
