Hoodat made such an important contribution to TEG.

Moving into assisted living was likely the end of his gardening. After about a 6 month break, he said hello and hasn't posted in just over a year.

Gardening is a year-around activity for only a few. Even if it is, it runs in cycles. There is always something new. Tried and true is really hard to come by and if it works for someone, chances are that different gardeners in different locations won't find those things useful, some will.

What I'm saying is that remembered experiences are worth sharing - remembered from last week, last season, a decade ago . I wish that those who have stopped gardening for a time would continue feeling comfortable sharing on TEG.

I like to think that many continue to check on what is going on here. It's comforting, don't you know?
