Hello everyone. I've found my way over from BYC. (Suburban chick farmer 09)

I'm a long time lurker first time poster. My question. How do I figure out when the last frost will be? I'm in Missouri, if that helps.

NOAA/NCDC have a *very detailed*frost dates probability chart . That can be a bit daunting. Basically look at the first column find your city and the look under the 10 percent column to see the last frost date.

Here's a quick reference guide.

My best suggestion is to find your USDA zone by zip code and see the last frost date for that. I'm pretty sure you can go to the USDA's website.

Welcome to this forum neighbor. Glad you came over here.

Another great source for his type of information is your county extension agent. I got a phamplet from mine that has last and first freeze dates plus a list of when to plant which crops for my area.
