So much for a dip in the hotel pool this storm has been down pouring even since I left the laundromat this morning, some good lightening and thunder.
So here I sit on the porch drinking coffee watching it rain wish it would stay this cool for the rest of my stay.... I can only wish

Maybe you should go away every summer...….your wife is doing GREAT!!!
Naw…..not really. It is a team effort and you two do a lot together. Every year y'all have a beautiful garden, and dozens of jars full of garden goodness.

Oh for rain. Yesterday it was supposed to be 101 again, but some clouds rolled in, thunder, lightening and a spatter of drops. Then several hours later, fires. Lots of lightening strike fires. One got a house in our community - hubs and I watched black billowing smoke for an hour from our front yard. Don't like lightening now.

The first corn pulled hope to get another round of corn in this weekend.
The orca beans are ready to pick..
Another round of green onions pulled and heading to the dryer
The last of the melons waiting to be picked..
One melon is in the dryer.
