mint as a grohnd cover!!?

Trivia rats, mice and I think raccoons supposedly hate the smell of mint. In NYC they sell garbage bags that smell of mint, to keep the rats from ripping open the bags.

Mint flavored garbage.......I have led a sheltered life

Way back in the dark ages when I was teaching second grade, I had a student come with mint FLAVORED school paste. Now I could understand mint-scented paste as the real stuff was pretty raunchy smelling, but mint flavored?

Needless to say, the jar was empty within two weeks.

At least mint flavored school paste was better for the student than mint flavored garbage. :drool

One in the same from my point of view.

Flavored! And with no serving size, caloric count, or ingredient listing. Even if the ingredients are almost identical to pasta. I did learn that the mint was there to deter cockroaches from dining on the pasted products.
