There's something it likes in that spot.What I thought was interesting this one plant that fell over,how it put roots in the ground.Just amazing.

Hey, no don't have a clue where in the world it came from. I had planted some marigolds there from seeds I saved from last year.


It's close to the chicken coop,high traffic area.Guess the ground there is very fertile. I had run a soaker hose & it got alot of water.

You are thinking of C. bipinnatus; this one is what we call 'Mexican Cosmos' or C. sulphureus, which comes in yellow, orange, and red.
