Morning mist over the lake

Are we not blessed to live on such a wonderous planet? Beautiful photos, Marshall. Your sunsets look much like ours here on the other side of those mountains :)

I had to squint to find that first pine, now that I see how big it's neighbor was! What a beautiful place you have there Marshall. I don't know if I'd get any gardening done...I'd be tempted to fish all day. ;)

That one was taken from the launch ramp looking southward along the west side of the lake. The dam is out of view, past the shore on the right.

So do you Southern Gardener. Louisiana. Most folks want to visit there for the Mardis Gras. That might be fun, but I would love to drive around and visit Louisiana for the whole cooler part of the year sometime. The country places, river places, native sites, the bayou.

Not to mention that great Cajun and Creole cooking. Louisiana people appreciate good food.
