I'm FINALLY building their coop this year, and I'll try to build at least one small chicken tractor, too. My hens are fond of grass and weeds.
Summer quarters and "shepherds" for my 2012 breeding/egg laying flock of 13 hens and 2 roosters, (Red one-"General Tso" and White mixed one-"Gregory Peck.")
Formerly a rabbit hutch, they had it in the horse stall, and it gives rain protection.
Wooden "tent" nailed to 2 pallets, and lined with rubber mats. I also have a windbreak on the north side. They get out of the weather here.
Lean-to's and scrap wood keeps their food dry in the rain. I tease them with the canoe that they will NEVER get to take out on a lake, LOL!
