Hi Karan,

I wanted to let you know that the seeds arrived in the mail. Thank you so very much. I am so surprised to see them all packaged as separate colors; I really wouldn't have minded them all mixed, but I am so excited at placing colors to the garden.

Again, I am overjoyed and elated. Thank you so much.

I will start these now which should give me blooms this coming spring. I cannot wait to post pictures and I haven't even planted them yet LOL :D

This is a wonderful thread! Love all the pictures and learning more about other varieties. I finally got some pictures together and thought I'd share. Realized I don't have any of the full plant. I'm really a closeup macro person as you'll see. These are all two year old plants although they never bloomed last year. We had a surprise, severe snowstorm in the second week of June and the plants (which were about 10" tall planted from seed) never really sprung back. I was so surprised to see them coming up this year! I am hooked on hollyhocks! I want to start another bed with saved seeds from this year as well as a few seeds I didn't plant the first year.

All the single blooms are "Happy Lights" and the double is "Peaches 'n Dreams"

Thank you Ron!

And you're welcome for the smiley face.
When I was cleaning all the seeds from the pods, I kept thinking they looked like some sort of eyes. I think they were just meant to create one more smile before being stored away just as their flowers created so many smiles for all those who got to enjoy them.:rainbow-sun

Have a great day!
