I am experiencing very interesting learning curves in gardening this year. Even though I am growing leeks inside, I suckered under and bought a package of them at Rural King, which I proceeded to transplant into my hotbed/coldbed. I was reaching so I stepped into the bed and I sunk 8 inches!!! I took the rake and fluffed it up, and I am pretty sure that the carrot seeds that I added afterwards should be able to sink their roots pretty deep!!
