My very first tomato!

Though there are no other green tomatoes yet, still trying to figure that out. I do have 1 tomato. Not only just 1, but my first one.... EVER. This is my first year gardening, and this is my first veggi plant. I've never been able to plant anything before. (In my condo, if I planted it... it DIED) I cross my fingers for more this season, and hoping my lettuce will come up in the next couple of weeks.

So I just want to share this most wonderful of moments in my life. An edible product of nature I did not destroy!

CONGRTAULATIONS vfem. I know the feelin, i jist won a battle with my chickens and finaly was able to git my first red one this year before they got to it.
