Thank you for the ID help! :) This overgrown area is something that I have let go wild for the birds and other critters, not anywhere near any gardens where I want to grow anything specific. Do you think I should still erradicate the bindweed? Is this a native species? My only concern for this area is the spruce trees. I wouldn't want them to die, so as long as the trees wont be harmed, I'm not too worried about them. What do you think?

The grapes can be a problem, since they like to climb up the trees. I pull them off trees I care about (even in the "wild" areas...) I think bind weed would happily cover a small tree or bush- so just keep an eye on it. If you spent your every waking moment- you wouldn't get rid of all of it...
