In a way, I kinda missed it!

Maybe this cookie lover should have it on the calendar ... I guess I celebrated quite by accident, eating the last 2 oatmeal and raisin cookies from last week. Gotta make room for DW's banana bread and carrot cake that she baked, yesterday ;).

Next will be me stirring up some pumpkin cookies (kabocha squash). Yeah, time to get some quick practice in for Christmas. Do you have a favorite cookie recipe?

I was going to make some peanut butter cookies for Kid#2's visit this afternoon, but got too behind to get to them. I would have tried harder if I knew it was a National Cookie Day!
This time of year I like to make oatmeal cookies with fresh cranberries in the dough. Super tasty!

I don't use a recipe , well I mean I use a recipe, but just the regular oatmeal one, and then add the fresh cranberries at the end and stir them in. Works for us :).

    Ah ha!

See that's some advice, right there.

DW bought dry cranberries about a week ago. She seemed to have no idea what to do with them! When she wasn't around, I used them for muffins ... :) .... but, I had to go thru several online recipes for desserts using cranberries from Ocean Spray.
