They are easy, really great for appetizers for Superbowl and such. You can start with store-bought bread too, if you want.

What is your favorite? Store bought bread for crack bread? Sacrilege. ;)

When I saw title crack bread, different ingredient came to mind and I was starting to worry about u! :frow

@seedcorn what kind of dough did you make? For the above roll up bread recipe, French bread recipe works best.
I do quick and easy. White bread or whole wheat. Egg, flour, yeast, milk, sugar, salt

Oh no Seed, pasties are made with pie dough! I mean if you want them to be real pasties. Mom always made them and we ate them with a bit of ketchup on top. That how we have them in my own family now. Not technically traditional, but the way we like them.

It's all in the way you pronounce it.

Mom corrected me whenever I said it wrong and I had no idea what the big deal was until I was much older. :oops:
