@meadow, thanks for the kind words; most of those “good ideas” are driven by my laziness😉.
I don't mind working hard for a few days if i can skate there-after. Fooling with fiberglass panels and wet, stinky tarps got old and didn’t seem to be that effective.
The grand opening will be yet this week and while there won’t be a band or nothing, maybe i’ll just blow my nose and call it good! To a point; i think being out in the chill, working has been good for my; whatever this is i contracted last week.

I have seen that movie And if i remember correctly; the invaders were Lemmings.

... no this is during the winter when the Lemmings were long gone and the wolves were living off eating mice and the guy didn't know what they were doing to survive as there was nothing else around to eat. then he saw them doing it, but he also was having an infestation in his tent so he took to eating them himself out of frustration but also to survive. the visuals of him cooking and eating some of them were great, the tent, him yelling and mice scattering in all directions from the tent and the beaker with mice in it and the cracker sandwiches. i've not seen this moving more than twice and many years ago (when it came out and then a few years later) so some details have likely escaped me, but i still have those visuals in my brain, because they were funny and i was laughing so hard but also because they were well done. :)

Not only will things be drier but i gained some covered storage as well. I’m liking this.
WOW. This looks amazingly well done @Alasgun. That is a mighty fine construction. Having no present set up for composting at the moment, I'll have to show your set up to DH. It's amazing how attention to details can turn a composting set up into something that looks so good. Kudos!

One of the last things i harvest each year is the Carbon (leaves) and thanks to the very wet year, we have a bumper crop! It’s the last mow of the season and the rider beat’s em up pretty good which leaves the lawn looking horrible; BUT i get the part i want and in another month it’ll all be covered in snow. This is on top of 2 feet of “this years compost” and by the time i pile rabbit poop on it all winter it will certainly be a good pile in the spring.

I know, i get too excited about Compost.🤓
