10 big-uns in the bank!

They closed one of our weed dominant “garden centers” this week and at 25% savings, i picked up enough of the grow medium i use for all my spring starts to get me thru a couple seasons!

The roof is done and it’s stop; used a cool Miami chain for a little gangster look😜. The vents are in too.
In order to move this thing around the shop i welded some casters to some 3”flat bar then tacked it to the feet of my hive stand and now it’s as easy as an office chair to move around. In the spring i’ll grind the tacks loose and move the whole thing to it’s intended location.

Currently working on a Teak Sun Burst; entrance reducer (for the other end).

Gave them something to aim for when landing today. The entrance reducer is re-sawn Teak from some long gone ocean liners handrail and the landing board is Red Cedar from the ranch in Dakota!

I love repurposing materials to build new things! I just recently made this ditty bag using part of our old sailboat's main sail, leather from my old boots, and rope from a bag I made last year.

Welded up a mould to wax top bars and whacked a disposal hose into handle covers.
