Our Polly is Gone

So sorry Bay.
I cried through your Polly tale. For you and your family and Polly, and also for every good dog I've shared this life with.
I think Seed put it very well,

Those that haven't experienced the joy of a good dog or the misery of losing one, are missing out on part of life.

You made me cry over this. I still have both my first personal dog ever, who is 7, and the first dog I have ever lived with, who is 8. I love them both. Rocco has been really great with our son, and also helping us through some very difficult times. I don't know what we'll do when he passes.

That was a beautiful eulogy, and Polly was a beautiful dog. I am so sorry you had to go through the last day of her life like that, but what wonderful memories of her, and what a great life you gave her, and what a great life she gave you, all those years!

That is the risk you take when you welcome a dog into your family bc we outlive them all.
