Thistle very nice plant I take it winter hardy ? I think I need one love the leaves

Yes, definitely winter hardy. It's a spring bloomer. There are several leaf types, but the blooms are all blue.

I like my brunnera. It has heart shape leaves. It's planted next to the wine barrel that you can see on my POW. Easy to care for and well behaved.

I think dahlia's are beautiful, but I don't like having to lift and store them.

I feel the same way. But last year I planted some dahlia that where on clearance at work. So many clients made comments about them I ( kennel boy) dug them up. Hoping they are just as good this year.
