Over Night Temperatures

Sure different then last year which was mild and balmy for the most part, only a couple of inches of snow at present but everything is frozen and dicey to walk on so I'm staying in. Victoria is approx. 80 miles south of us and warmer, they can grow things there I can't, just looked it's 23ºF right now here, it's supposed to warm up a bit next week but only for a few days. A lot of you are saying that's not cold but here on the coast you feel it a lot more than inland, damp cold and dry cold are like night and day.

our big ice storm never materialize, but the state and county did brine the bridges which was very smart on their part.. forecast for tomorrow is about a quarter inch of rain....

dw family up in western new york got 8" of snow last night..... yuck

Southern NY about 3 to 4 still snowing. Should change to rain this afternoon

Over night low was suppose to be -10 where I am. Not even close. It was 6 when the sun came up.

We had about 5" of perfect fluffy snow yesterday, which made the cross-country skiing perfect! This morning, it is pouring rain and 25. We are glad we didn't clear the snow yet, as we would have created a skating rink. It is supposed to warm to 35, and then plummet below zero again at night. Crazy yoyo temperatures.

White Plains house got 2 maybe 3 inches, country house 1 hr north almost 12 inches

A few nights ago it was single digits and subzero windchill temps. Last night it got up to 65, torrential rains two nights in a row, temps dropped to the low 30s by this morning and supposed to be in the teens tonight.

you too...last 3 days was yankee vortex today it's 59* and raining... the next 15 days is just a yo-yo in temps
