I harvested one batch of microgreens. Among them are rockets and radishes, which greatly enrich the overall flavor. Our dinner is Bagel with microgreens and cheese and beef stew (with entire Chinese cabbage and some eggplants).

Those germination domes performed nicely. More seedlings are coming out, even the clary sage and catnip, which should have taken a much longer time.

Two varieties of cauliflower - will move into module trays tomorrow.

I also saw very tiny roots and a shade of green from the tray I sowed the first batch of Lisianthus!!! Horray!

Cauliflower, Red Romaine Lettuce, Clary Sage, Round-leaf Crown Daisy, Beet Greens - 60 healthy and lovely seedlings checked in the module trays and will stay indoors for another two weeks.

I walked the dogs, played with the hens a bit, and enjoyed the mixed salad with red wine vineigarett.

Let's call it a day, and I will sow a bit new seeds tomorrow.

Veggies:
Pointed Cabbage, Pak Choi, Komatsuna 'Red' and 'Big Leaf'

Tea Garden:
St. John's Wort, Fennel, Hyssop 'Blue' and 'Pink'

Cut Flowers:
Himalayan blue poppy, California poppy 'Thai Silk Appleblossom'

I enjoyed the process very much.

St. John's Wort has an interesting history. But, the seeds are sooooo tiny!

I love my new sowing routine on Fridays.

Tomorrow, I will prick out some mini Chinese cabbages and one Pelargonium.

The first batch of Lisianthus was sown on January 16th - more are germinating. I can see now at least ten plants.

Catnip 'Blue Moon' - also at least ten seedlings

Geranium 'Bright Eyes' - just five days, so quick. However, another salmon-colored variety is completely quiet.

Some Roses from the shop - instead of going to the compost, some stems are now in the small dome and waiting for chances to become new plants.

The milk bottles will act as shields for some young plants in the later stage, even after transplantation.

I think, most of the roses are hardy. I only plant them outside. But, the newly propagated ones (2022) are staying in the greenhouse now.

Ya know, here in the US, there are "rose thieves", who will look both ways at an abandoned rural property and dig up the roses there bc they are hardy enough to exist neglected.

I've just bought a climbing rose at the wrong time of year for where I live. I would like the pot it for now and keep it indoors. It's an outdoor climbing rose, called "Paul's scarlet". 8 have not taken it out of the box yet and need to soak the ball.

Would the normal compost be okay? We only have clay soil here.

I soaked a good amount of aloe vera in water ready for a feed but would it be best to feed it with a rose feed at the appropriate time?
