The Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have moved into Alabama already, and I managed to catch this little fella perched in a tree guarding his feeder! He's been trying hard to share with the newly-arrived females, and impress them with his fancy shuttle display. Ever watchful, he was soon preening himself after I took this.

They are called Netty’s Pride! I do have some Stargazers but they won’t bloom until July.
