40 acres and water. My once upon a time dream property. I would love to see wildlife like that here. Alas, I have only a small man-made pond. I do envy you having such sights nearby.

Yeah, I know, lots of folks think he is only a rodent, and the only good rodent is a dead rodent. He is getting ready for his long winter's nap, but I have to say it was fun having Simon around this summer. He did not bother a single thing, the house, the garden, or anything else. And, Miss Ava loved to feed him and have him share the deck with us.

Jackb, that is one beautiful picture. One of my favorite things is seeing paths. They always seem so peaceful to me. Though that is a road, I can pretend that it's a giant path.

Well she has been MOODY hear for THREE days od damp, cold and windy days. But Simon is adorable, they really can be fun visitors if the are well mannered.
