Nice bird pics. In the PNW we have a similarly looking bird here looks like the zebra striped winged bird. I think your bird is the Red is called the ‘Red Headed Woodpecker.
Our red head in the PNW is called the red Headed Sap Sucker . They drill holes in the bark of pine trees and drink the sap in early spring.

Actually, this is a red bellied woodpecker! LOL, A pink tinge on the tummy gives it it's name. Our Red-headed woodpecker is larger and has a fully red head. (Photo of it below, not a photo I took but from a reference guide.)
