Here are a few photos from our 2010 garden/jungle...

I'll be putting in raised beds in this location for this year... the potted plants did remarkably well, but I want BEDS! :)

*LOL*
I looked at all of my photos from last summer a couple days ago, and I couldn't believe my eyes! Things looks so dead and tired out there now.

Things sure grew a little larger than I anticipated! :) I'll be better at spacing this year (... i hope ...)

:D

Here's an update on my gardens, mostly raised beds for now. I posted them on this thread about a month ago and they are doing great, here's the pics, hope you like..

Beets, peas, radishes which I've been eating for a week now, yum, and rutabaga. I learned you can eat radish greens on this forum so when I eat one now I start by cleaning the whole thing and start munching on the leaves then enjoy the radish, nothing like a garden fresh radish!
My wife bought me strawberry plants for my birthday, best gift ever! I planted them in this lasagna garden, straw, store bought compost, chicken poop compost and top soil, they should be pretty good...

Two more raised beds waiting for the last frost, tomatoes, cukes, peppers, green beans going in these..

I'm planning on making a few more gardens this year, one for sure is potatoes in a straw garden and an herb garden, wish me luck. :D

Thank you! :)
I'm really looking forward to this year's garden.
We picked up 2x10 lumber today (salvaged from an old barn) for building about 9 4x8 raised beds. Tomorrow's weather is promising to be perfect for working in the garden, and perhaps we'll get a few, if not all, of those beds built.
