i was thinking some sort of python from the markings but i'm sure you all know your local snakes.

oh yes have dispatched a few copperheads with the 12ga even got one with the mower.

You are a brave man Boggy! I would have joined Petey and not gone near the thing. *shiver* I do not really mind snakes when I expect to see them. Just don't like them surprising me in odd places.
