Reasons to Smile...

Here's one to start- The days are getting longer!
It's very noticeable.
Here it is twenty to 5 and I'm heading out to feed and tuck the animals in.
A month ago I would have needed a flashlight. Yay!

Seed, you mean you have to wait until it's summer temps to venture out?
I figured you for the guy with insulated coveralls and a fur bomber hat.

Oh no, I'm outside every day, but want to lay field tile in ground to carry water away from work shed. While I am a man's man, even I don't want to hand dig in frozen dirt/stone mix. Don't tell my wife as she sees me as wimp as I like to cook as well..

I figure a guy who likes to cook is a huge reason to smile.
My husband has many fine manly qualities. I wish one of them was cooking...but I'll take him as he is.
I did not marry him to change him, even if he doesn't believe it.

I love to see the sun hang around a bit longer each day. But the thing that makes me smile even more is all the buds popping open and the forest with a faint green glow of springtime.

I beats going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. Nothing gets done around here then.
