We moved old sod from one place to another on the ranch where I work, all is great, but question is, do I worry about feeding it? If so, how long after?

It is my understanding not to fertilize it after transplanting as the fertilizer will encourage leaf growth. What you need right now it root growth. Over the fall and winter it will get established. Fertilize in the spring.

Bay has it right. Wait until spring, just about no matter what zone you are in except maybe Hawaii.
