Rugosa Rose problems and questions

Roses will keep Eva in. But, I am playing with ideas and can be persuaded otherwise. Don't have the money saved up for the fencing, I NEED new windows upstairs, probably this Fall, so this is just in the planning stages. I AM SURE that I will plant another yellow knockout rose bc I love the one that I have next to the garage.
