While I was home for the weekend DW wanted to hit the second hand stores. While we were at the Salvation Army store I found this cultivator for a whopping $2.89. The handle is a little rough can be fixed with a little sanding and linseed oil though. The tines are in like new condition with very little wear and no rust. This will work great with our soil , and in the raised beds!

Thrift store junkie here!! Have 3 Salvation army stores near by, Like goodwill better because they are open late. Last spring I picked up a old metal sprinkler for $2 checked ebay and couldn"t believe how much some of the old ones sell for. I find a lot of stuff for the yard on craigs list.

Good for you Collector. I too also go to salvation army stores occasionally. But here, everything in them seems to be way overpriced.

Does that tool have a short or long handle?
