i don't have to, i always have an innertube around my waist... it is kind of like a ball and chain, only softer and rounder and less clanky.

i'm also glad to say that i'm doing a good job of holding my own this past year. so my "holding my own" is much less than it used to be...

GS is studying viola (and piano.). 2 DD's play violin, other plays cello.
So, Yeah, pretty funny!
They say that the violist(s) is/are the Nicest person/people in the orchestra.

That’s because that is not a blue Heeler, that is a badger. It’s a joke. This is a Blue Heeler.

@baymule & @Marie2020 , my dog for a dozen years was a Blue Heeler and Australian Shepherd. She was 6 months old and already named Maska. You can see how that came about.

I was thinking about her just this morning. Still miss her and seeing that silly joke before bedtime must have prompted those thoughts.

She hated a collar but needed only directions for our walking together. Along with Brochen, the Border Collie/Cocker, we nearly met a badger once. Forested area on a logging road. I captured the dogs attention by whispering to them before they had seen the critter. The badger saw us and hightailed it outta there . Luckily for all 4 of us.
