this morning got out early enough to see if i could find the tomato worms, and i did find one but i suspect there might be another.

heading out to get going on weeding this morning asap. it's very humid and no breeze at all so far but it is supposed to be there eventually, i guess. chances of rain this afternoon.
It has been an awful hot humid day here. It's rained a bit but still a nasty humidity

On the front area and part of the back but not as long. Plus we have load of weeks of rain here.

you'd need pretty well drained soil.

I grew chives pretty well out the back, they kept coming back for about 3 years.

we can't kill them here (even in a raised spot and never had to water them they kept going until we removed them because they kept dropping all those seeds and Mom did not want to keep them up.

right now in that same general area there's a garden that really needs to be weeded and since it is very tiny i mentioned to Mom that perhaps she could do that one (i've weeded it four times at least already)? um, it's been three weeks and i've forgotten about it and those grasses are getting huge. *sigh*
